Pittsford Firefighters attack a basement fire on Church Street, in the village, on April 8, 2006.  Arriving companies found heavy smoke conditions throughout the structure with a fire in the basement.  Fire had burned through the first floor.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Pittsford Firefighters made quick work of a fire in an attached garage on Marsh Road on March 11, 2006.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.  The call came from a passer-by.

Pittsford Fire Department responded to a working fire in the 1st Presbyterian Church on May 20, 2004.  

The fire, due to a lightning strike, caused heavy damage to the sanctuary, including structural collapse of  the sanctuary roof.

Pittsford Firefighters handled a working basement fire on Framingham Lane on May 23, 2001.  

There was heavy fire damage to the basement with heat and smoke damage throughout the structure.

Pittsford Firefighters attack a working garage fire on Rand Place on February 18, 2001.  There was heavy damage to the structure and the contents were a total loss.

Pittsford Firefighters were kept busy on February 10, 2001, when winds in excess of 65 mph caused widespread damage.  The worst of the damage was done to this home in the Village of Pittsford.

Pittsford Firefighters attack fire in an asphalt storage tank, being demolished, at Monaco Oil on Monroe Avenue on November 16, 2000.

Mutual Aid to the scene from the Greater Rochester International Airport Fire Department...Rescue 4 responded.
