3rd Battalion General Policies

All policies issued herein have been reviewed and accepted by the 3^rd Battalion Executive Fire Chiefs and have been approved by a majority vote of the general membership of the 3^rd Battalion Line Officers Association.

These policies are intended to:  

Ø	Create a uniform operational basis for Mutual Aid operations.
Ø	Encourage compliance with applicable Battalion, County, State and Federal mandates, policies and laws.
Ø	Improve and foster consistency throughout the administrative functions within the 3rd Battalion.

These policies shall be divided into two (2) categories:

Ø	ADM	Administrative
Ø	OPS	Operational

Compliance is encouraged whenever possible and when situations occur that cause companies to deviate from these policies, the intent of the applicable policy should be followed as closely as possible.
